After an incredible journey, today is the day we’re stepping back from running the Community Fridge London. This project has been a labour of love — powered by your generosity, your time, your kindness, and your commitment to caring for one another. Thank you for every donation, every share, every grocery run, and every moment of community you’ve helped build. 💛🥦 Together, over the last 3 years we dispersed $1000/day in food and truly feel like we made a difference. A huge thank you to our major sponsors and

We’re so grateful to Gateway Church (890 Sarnia Rd) for picking up the torch and continuing this important work. They plan to open in September, so the fridge will live on, just in a new way!

Starting the second week of July, Gateway Chruch will offer a weekly pop-up market every Wednesday 5-7pm at St. John the Divine, running through July and August.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this with us. It’s not goodbye — just a beautiful new chapter.

❤️ Kathleen, Patti and Ginny

The Janssen family turned their birthday celebrations into a beautiful act of kindness! They collected donations and stocked the community fridge and pantry, proving that the best gift is giving back. Thank you for sharing your hearts with the neighbourhood!

Happy 2nd Birthday to the Community Fridge!!! What a ride it has been! The fridge has helped so many people in our community! We’re so thankful for our amazing volunteers who spend hours cleaning and stocking, making the fridge easy to use on a daily basis. Thank you to our partners at Harvest Hands for providing food for us to be able to fill the fridge on days it was empty. Thank you to all of businesses who have donated their time to make food in the commercial kitchen or run a food drive. And finally thank you to all the people who have donated food and/or used the fridge. It runs as smoothly as it does because you are respectful of each other and your community.
