On Wednesday, September 30, our LCA community took time to recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Our students spent time learning about the history and experiences of Indigenous peoples in Canada, and reflecting on the importance of listening, learning, and showing respect.

Our senior boys and girls soccer teams played in their first tournament today! We’re so proud of how they played, worked together, and showed Christlike character both on and off the field. Way to represent LCA! ⚽️

Our Grade 3 students have been getting creative with STEM!

They’ve been challenged to build towers without using glue, and let’s just say… they had some pretty creative ideas! It was so fun watching them experiment, problem-solve, and see what they could come up with!

Here’s a peek at one of their creative towers!

We’re so grateful for our Grade 8 students who led a wonderful chapel this morning, teaching us about the Armour of God!

They did a fantastic job reminding us to stand firm in our faith and put on the full armour of God each day.

What a great way to live out our school theme verse, Ephesians 6:10–18!

What a great first week back!

One of the best parts of the week has been hearing the hallways filled with laughter again as friends reconnect after the summer. It’s been wonderful to see students catching up, sharing stories, and settling back into school life.

Now that classes are in full swing, we’re excited for all that’s ahead this year. We look forward to watching our students learn new things, build friendships, and grow more into who God has created them to be.

We’re so thankful for such a positive start to the school year and can’t wait to see what this year has in store!

This week, our staff took part in Intermediate First Aid & CPR training, strengthening their skills and confidence to respond in an emergency.

We hope and pray for a safe, accident-free school year, but we also believe in being prepared. From learning life-saving CPR skills to practicing how to respond in an emergency, our staff are equipped to help keep our students safe and cared for.

We’re grateful for a team that takes the safety and well-being of our students seriously—and for the opportunity to learn skills that could one day make all the difference.

Here’s to a safe and wonderful school year!

Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of hosting our Golf Tournament Fundraiser FireRock Golf Club and we are thrilled to share that together we raised over $41,000 in support of our school!

This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors, the enthusiasm of our golfers, and the support of everyone who helped make the day such a success.

We are deeply grateful to every individual and business who contributed their time, resources, and energy to this event. Your support makes a meaningful difference and helps us continue the important work we do in our community.

Thank you for being part of such a memorable day. We are proud of what we accomplished together and look forward to building on this momentum in the years ahead!
