Chartered in 1958, Forest City Toastmasters is the oldest Toastmasters club in London, ON. We provide a warm, friendly atmosphere where members practice and improve their speaking skills. Public speaking is an essential skill in all areas of life. By joining Toastmasters, members overcome any fears they may have surrounding public speaking and learn to become better communicators and leaders in th

eir communities. Forest City Toastmasters helps foster a positive learning environment where members can progress at their own pace. Our club is home to many seasoned regulars as well as many new members. We have a good cross-section of the city: students, teachers, nurses, trades people, business people, etc. Our members include recent immigrants looking to improve their English speaking skills as well as born and raised Londoners and people from all over Canada. No matter what your background, field of work, public speaking skill level or English speaking level, we guarantee you will find a welcoming place to identify and improve your skills as you see fit.

Our theme for the night was “Routine,” and The evening’s Toast celebrated “the routines that make our lives simpler.”

🎤 Prepared Speech Highlights:

Jodi DiGiuseppe delivered an incredible Presentation Mastery Level 3 inspirational speech titled “Unpack Your Backpack,” focusing on the power of practicing self-compassion. Alice Kirk provided fantastic, constructive feedback as the speech evaluator.
