Today is World Cancer Day, a day to come together and celebrate every moment and every memory we share with those we love and take action to change the future of cancer. Today we are especially grateful for your volunteer time, passion and commitment to making a difference.

As the pandemic enters its third year, those facing cancer are still experiencing delays in diagnosis and treatment and continue to struggle with feelings of anxiety and isolation. Championing the needs of people with cancer and their caregivers has never been more important.

As we honour and remember everyone affected by cancer today, we can also raise our voices to create change.

Your voice is powerful. Use the link below to send a customizable email which will automatically go to your Member of Parliament to let them know that people with cancer and their loved ones need support during the pandemic. If you wish, you can also share your own story of how the pandemic has affected cancer care for you or someone you love to help ensure that decisions made by government incorporate the experiences and perspectives of people facing cancer and their loved ones.

We’re committed to supporting people affected by cancer, and we’re working tirelessly to save and improve lives and be the voice for people who care about cancer. This World Cancer Day, we hope you will join us and raise your voice to change the future of cancer.
