We are always tremendously grateful to the London Community Foundation (LCF) for their generous and continued support of Hutton House.
In 2021, Hutton House received a $230,000 Community Vitality Grant from the London Community Foundation in support of The PATCH, our accessible community garden operating out of the Cavendish Community Food Hub.
LCF has also taken the time to help share our story, not only the journey of The PATCH, but our documentary series titled Root Awakening, told through the perspective of our very own Faye Simmons.
Faye’s wit carries a gently irreverent charm throughout the series, the kind of humour that disarms, delights, and makes room for honest conversations about food security, accessibility, interdependence, responsibility, and what it means to build compassionate communities together.
Thank you LCF for continuing to advance community, belonging, and food security here in London, and for amplifying the work we do.
