Ride for a Reason

Ride for a Reason A volunteer initiated fundraiser helping support kids attend summer camp removing financial barriers. We are all in this together!

We invite everyone that is doing the ride/run to post photos/videos on social media and use the hashtag. Throughout the week, we will share these posts. We will be finishing our week off with a finale celebration on June 12 (as long as restrictions allow) at Southern Alberta Bible Camp and would love to have all riders/runners join us for some fun activites, awards, and a meal. There are

no restrictions on how you complete your KM (by road or mountain bike, tandem, virtual, e-bike, trail-a-bike, trail running, treadmill, etc.). Choose from 4 bike distances: 20KM, 50KM, 100KM, 160KM or 4 running distances: 10KM, 21.1KM, 42.2KM, 50 KM'S (5K/day). Everyone that registers will get a fundraising package with templates and tips to help raise money! Our Corporate Partnership page has a great advertising option you can offer to companies for corporate sponsorships.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who participated in and supported our event!

Because of your generosity, enthusiasm, and community spirit, we are helping make it possible for more kids to experience an unforgettable week at Southern Alberta Bible Camp. Your support will help send children to camp, where they can build friendships, grow in their faith, create lasting memories, and enjoy incredible outdoor adventures.

We are so grateful to every participant, volunteer, sponsor, and donor who made this event a success. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

After much thought, we’ve decided that the June 6 Ride for a Reason event will be our last for the foreseeable future.

What started as a ride became something so much bigger — a community coming together to help raise money to send children to summer camp and create memories that will last a lifetime.

We’re incredibly grateful for every rider, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who made this journey possible.

Now let’s finish strong — help us close this chapter with a bang and make our final ride the best one yet.
