Friends of the Performing Arts (FOPA) This event showcases local performers from musicians to dancers and DJs. All proceeds from Mardi Gras are donated to local performing arts needs.

Friends of the Performing Arts (FOPA) is a group of volunteers dedicated to keeping the performing arts alive in the community, and enhancing the quality of music education. sing money at the yearly fundraiser event ‘Mardi Gras’. In the past we’ve contributed to school band, music and drama programs, dance and music festivals, and various scholarships. Our most recent and exciting news, FOPA has now partnered with LPSD to facilitate private music lesson instruction within the public school system. Hear songs classic covers from the Beatles, Bryan Adams and more from two smoking local bands:

Trent Bloch Hansen's Blox Buds (who you will recognize below) and
