Awards night 2026 will be held Saturday Nov.14th at the Liverpool Fire Hall 520 Main street Liverpool. The NSDRA will hold there fall AGM from 4pm till 5pm. Memberships for 2027 can be paid before the meeting. 5pm there will be a Pizza and Chicken supper and social. 6pm will be Awards for the top 3 in all of our point series classes! Finally, as the smoke clears from the smokey burnouts that this class is known for. It was Michael Whynot clinching the season long title over Brett Ramsay. Ramsay finished runner up despite missing a mid season race but was still good enough to top Croft in 3rd and the rest of the Super Pro class. Likely the season highlight for Croft was winning the Inaugural King of the Track race in August and the 1st ever Wally handed out at Greenfield Dragway. Congratulations to all 3 on great seasons.

In the Greenfield Pro class it was a summer that once again seen a variety of winners but at the end of the season familiar faces were atop the standings. Bill Sheppard who is always a contender was in the hunt along with Kale Johnson who has been top 2 in points the past 4 seasons. However, neither could amass more points than multi time champion Mike Ingram who again this season is a double champion also picking up another ACSSA championship. Congratulations to all 3 and every one of our Pro racers who make this class the toughest around.

As we continued to see growth in the Bike / Sled class it was Wayne Morris on his "Lets race every weekend" summer campaign that picked up the 2026 Championship with long haul regular Jason Swetnam close behind and the 2025 champ backing up his championship season with a solid 3rd place in the standings. Special mention goes out to Nick Manthorne who was tied with Devin but will finish 4th based on the tie breaker, Nick will be contender next season for sure.

RACING CANCELLED..As we were gearing for a big finale at the dragway, Mother Nature was making other plans. We’ve had a great season with five completed events, but unfortunately this weekend’s race is cancelled as the forecast looks dismal.

Our fellow track up at Miramichi Dragway has a race scheduled for next weekend, and then it’s all things family with Thanksgiving the next. A re-schedule for mid-late October is risky at best so this brings a close to our race season at Greenfield.

We thank all the racers, spectators, family, friends and volunteers for their support. Please stay tuned for meeting and year-end awards details.
