Queens County Food Bank

Queens County Food Bank Changing Hearts and Minds...Hunger should not be allowed! Queens County Food Bank is open to clients on Tuesdays from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Clients can come every third Tuesday. On civic holidays or when closed because of bad weather, we will open on the follow day, weather permitting. If you would like to make a donation, there are drop boxes in the Sobeys and Superstore. For larger donations please call and leave a message and we will make arrangements. We normally stock the following items:
Beans (molasses/maple), Evaporated Milk,

Canned Tuna/Ham/Chicken/Turkey, Peanut Butter, Cheez Whiz, Pasta Sauce, Soups: Tomato/Chicken Noodle/Vegetable/Cream of Mushroom, Pasta: Spaghetti/Macaroni/etc., Mac & Cheese, Can Vegetables(corn/mixed veggies/peas/etc.), Can Fruit, Crackers, Cereal. Any donation of these products is always appreciated! Please do not donate out of date items! (no items past the best before date)

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all who have supported us over the last year, business, organizations and individuals.

Merry Christmas from our house to yours. The volunteers of the Queens County food bank and thrift store want to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the support from organizations and individuals this holiday season. Once again the community of Queens County has shown they are the best!
So from all of us Happy Holidays!

The food bank will be open Dec. 23rd for regular client day.
The food bank will then be closed for Christmas holiday, opening again January 6th, 2026 for regular client day.
