Thanks to everyone who came out to Rotary’s first community Pancake Breakfast of 2026! Over 130 people enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast of buttermilk & vanilla pancakes with real maple syrup, scrambled eggs, pork sausages, seasoned hash browns, orange juice and coffee/tea, served by Rotarians and Friends of Rotary. Rotary thanks our individual and corporate sponsors who generously donate product and money to help defray our costs of putting on these breakfast events, allowing us to return more of the proceeds back to the community of Northern Bruce Peninsula! More photos from this latest community Pancake Breakfast event can be found at https://www.rotarynbp.org/photoalbums/pancake-breakfast-may-17-2026. Our next community Pancake Breakfast will be held at Rotary Pavilion by Lion’s Head Beach on Sunday, July 5th, on the Canada Day holiday … Hope to see you there!

Rotarians Catherine Henderson, Sue Kolundzic and Dan Bryans teamed up with members of the Peninsula Bruce Trail Club for the kickoff to the 2026 Butt Blitz campaign on Tuesday, May 12th beginning at Lion’s Head Beach. Volunteers divided into smaller groups and picked up cigarette butts at the beach, along the section towards the Lion’s Head Lighthouse, and along the Bruce Trail (from McCurdy Parkette to the Lion’s Head Lookout). The campaign goal is to collect 7,000 butts to help clean the Bruce Peninsula environment.
