The Hub's daytime program will be closed tomorrow, October 20th, to allow for some parking lot construction work. The Hub will be offering services out of 111 William Street from 8am-7:30pm. The overnight program will open at the Hub at 7:30pm.

Together, We Can Meet the Need!

As we head into the months when our community needs us most, we’re asking you to help us be ready.

The need for food support in our community continues to grow. Our numbers are up by 30%, and we are entering a time of year when the demand for support typically increases even further.

The months ahead bring added challenges for many local families. With the cost of living continuing to put pressure on household budgets, having access to nutritious food can make a meaningful difference.

At the Minden Community Food Centre, we want to make sure our shelves are stocked and that we are ready to support every neighbour who walks through our doors.

And we know we don't do this alone.

We are incredibly grateful to the individuals, families, businesses, organizations and community groups who continue to stand behind the Food Centre. Your support allows us to keep food on the shelves and provide the fresh, nutritious food our clients and families need.

If you are able to help, there are many ways you can support us:

❤️ Donate food — Non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at the Food Centre or at collection locations throughout our community.

❤️ Donate online — Make a secure financial donation through our website.

❤️ E-transfer — Send your donation to [email protected].

❤️ Donate by cheque — Mail or drop off your cheque at the Food Centre.
Donate cash — Cash donations are always appreciated.

❤️ Shop our Amazon Wish List — Purchase items we need and have them delivered directly to us.

❤️ Donate securities — Securities can also be donated to support the work we do.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us prepare for the increased need ahead.
