Dream Ball The Dream Ball is the highest profile fundraiser in Kawartha Lakes, presented by BGC Kawarthas Foundation (Boys & Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes Foundation).

eople and you can ask to be seated with specific others. Dietary requests must be made in advance. The Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Foundation (KHCF) and the BGC Kawarthas Foundation (Boys & Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes Foundation) have entered into a partnership in order to ensure the longevity of the Dream Ball. The transition will occur over a period of 5 years, after which time BGC Kawarthas will be the sole organizer and beneficiary of the event.
“After 25 years, the timing was perfect to partner with another local organization in Lindsay,” says Deb Aben, Executive Director of the Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Foundation. “BGC Kawarthas was our first and best choice considering that many of the children already supported by the Dream Ball attend their summer camps.”
“We can’t thank KHCF and the Dream Ball committee members, past and present, enough for this wonderful opportunity,” says Amy Terrill, Executive Director of the BGC Kawarthas Foundation. “In 2020, the Club’s 50th anniversary year, it will be an incredible honour to work with the Dream Ball Committee, existing volunteers, sponsors and donors, and to bring our staff and volunteers to contribute their energy and ideas, in order to produce this fabulous community fundraising event.”

We are astounded, year after year, of the support and generosity of the Kawartha Lakes region and beyond toward our goal of being there for the children and youth. These wonderful companies donated goods and gift cards to this year's Dream Ball for our silent auction, to raise money towards our summer camp programs. These local restaurants and food shops donated gift cards and opportunities to our Dream Ball for our special Fork Frenzy event. How it worked is anyone who donated at least $30 had a chance to pick a fork out of our bowl with a special number, and then that number would choose the envelope they'd receive for a gift card.

This was made possible thanks to all these companies. It's incredible we were able to do this, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts!

The lovely local Pie Eyed Monk restaurant has a live auction item for you!
