🌟 National AccessAbility Week (May 31–June 6) is a time to celebrate the achievements, leadership, and contributions of Canadians with disabilities, while recognizing the people, organizations, and communities working to remove barriers and build a more inclusive society.

This year’s theme, “Building a Strong, Accessible Canada,” reminds us that our communities are stronger when everyone has the opportunity to participate fully and reach their potential.

Looking for ways to get involved? Visit the National AccessAbility Week website to learn more about accessibility initiatives, disability inclusion programs, access the free digital toolkit, download social media graphics, and other resources to help spread awareness and start important conversations about accessibility and inclusion.

On March 7, Chimo attended the DRPS Youth in Policing 2026 Winter CAN (Community, Advocacy, and Networking) Conference in Whitby.

The public event brought together youth aged 13–24 to explore volunteer opportunities, employment pathways, and personal development resources, while connecting with organizations that support young people in our community.

It was a great opportunity for Chimo to connect with youth, share information about our services, and highlight the supports available to help young people thrive.
