STL Sports Fund & NSA Canada

Did you know that STL Sports has proudly been using NSA insurance for over 3 years now?

From our youngest athletes in T-ball to our adult recreational leagues and tournaments, every STL program, league and tournament operates with insurance coverage in place. Since the beginning of our leagues, we've made it a priority to have insurance as part of running our programs. As STL continued to grow, our commitment to providing opportunities for our players remained the same and still does.

We're grateful for the friendships, memories and opportunities to give back to the community we love. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

It's the little red building with the Rotary wheel on the front. You've probably driven past it a hundred times.

But here's what most people don't realize: 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝘁.

So our Rotarians didn't stop at the walls and the roof. They made sure the entire approach was paved, because "almost accessible" isn't accessible at all.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹: 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲.

Local businesses, contractors, and community members stepped forward with their time, skills, materials, and financial support. 𝗖𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰, 𝗧𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲, 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲, 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 chose to be part of something that would benefit the community for years to come.

That's what community looks like. People coming together to build something bigger than any one organization could accomplish alone.

We don't just build things. We help create places where everyone belongs—the parent with a stroller, the grandparent with a walker, the child using a wheelchair, and every family coming out to enjoy the day.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗲'𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭𝟬𝟰 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁.

🎉 Want to be part of the next chapter? Come visit us at Rotary Fest on Sunday, October 18, at Old Mill Park. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.

Double shout out to the Diamond Disruptors! ⚾
Not only did the Diamond Disruptors battle their way to the Top Pod Championship at our May 31st STL fundraiser tournament, but they also gave back in a big way by nominating the Fenelon Falls Minor Ball Association to receive their $400 team fee donation.

This contribution will help support youth baseball in the Fenelon area - whether it's new gear, uniforms, or assisting families with registration costs. Thank you, Disruptors, for showing heart on and off the field!

And that’s a wrap on the second year of the STL MENS League!

Last night, we officially wrapped up another great season with close games in the finals at Wilson Fields. For the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, the Dusters came out on top. Tuesday night STL MENS League Champions!

A huge thank-you to all of our umpires, captains, players, families and supporters who came out on Tuesday nights almost every week since the middle of May. It takes a lot of people to make an entire season happen, and we appreciate every single person who was part of it. Thank-you to all 10 teams who came out this season! From May right through to October, it’s been another season full of competition, laughs, friendships and a whole lot of ball.

Two years of the STL MENS League are officially in the books. As for 2027… we’ll just say Tuesday nights might look a little different.
We’ll leave that one right there for now.

Congratulations to the DUSTERS!

2026 STL FALL BALL
THAT’S A WRAP!

This one is pretty special to us because Fall Ball is where STL leagues began.

Three years ago, we got 7 teams together at OPS to battle it out for a Fall Ball season. We really had no idea what it would turn into, but so many new connections were made that season and from there, STL just kept growing.

Last year, we made the move to Wilson Fields and successfully ran Fall Ball with 10 teams.
This year? We aimed for 12 teams.
Then we capped it at 14.
Then we thought… why not?? If 16 teams want to play ball, LET’S DO IT!
And somehow, we ended up with 16 TEAMS playing 2026 STL Fall Ball!
That completely shocked us in the best possible way. One thing has become very clear over the last three years:
There are A LOT of people in this community who just want to play ball.
With 16 teams, we decided to switch things up and create four pods, giving teams the chance to battle for four different championships. It made for a fun, competitive year-end tournament and gave us four very deserving winners:

A POD CHAMPIONS - KAWARTHA KRAZE
B POD CHAMPIONS - DINGERS & ZINGERZ
C POD CHAMPIONS - WHEELIN N’ DEALIN
D POD CHAMPIONS - FALL BRAWLERZ

Congratulations to all four teams!
We definitely had some learning curves this season. Running a league with 16 teams was a whole different beast, but we learned a TON from it. We already know there are things we can improve, and we’re looking forward to taking everything we learned, what we continue to learn and aim at coming back even stronger next year.

A huge thank-you to Big Hog’s BBQ+ for coming out and supporting us throughout the entire tournament weekend especially with Sundays wave of excitement at Wilson Fields. Having you there was such a great addition, and we appreciate your support of STL and our ball community!

And we absolutely have to recognize our umpires. With 16 teams playing across four different diamonds at Wilson Fields, Sunday was a BIG day. Scott, Scott M, Chad and Andy were out there umpiring for us all day, keeping game after game moving. We are incredibly grateful for the time and effort you guys put in. Thank you!

To every captain, player, umpire, volunteer, sponsor and supporter who showed up this Fall Ball season.. THANK YOU. Whether you've been here since those first 7 teams at OPS or joined us for the first time this year, you helped make this season what it was.

7 teams → 10 teams → 16 teams.

Three years of Fall Ball and a whole lot of memories, friendships and connections later… it’s pretty wild to see where this little idea has gone.

Thank-you to those who sent photos, if you have any to share, send our way!

Congratulations again to our champions and thank you for an unforgettable 2026 STL Fall Ball season!
