Increased silt in the river means we need to reduce water usage so that the water treatment plant can keep up. Do your part by postponing laundry and conserving water.

The City of Lethbridge is asking everyone to cut back on non‑essential water use for at least the next few days.

Rainfall has pushed extra debris into the river, making treatment more difficult.

Drinking water remains safe.

Bed 1 of 3 complete!

What a beautiful way to kick off spring! This week we are planting 3 new drought-tolerant, native perennial beds at along with 5 new trees!

Thank you to all the people involved and the volunteers that have helped bring this vision to life! We can't wait to see all these plant babies grow big and strong and provide important food, medicine and habitat to all who visit!

We will be planting tomorrow (May 12) 9-12 and Wednesday 9-4 for anyone interested in joining in on the fun! There will also be a beautiful To***co Ceremony happening from 1-4 tomorrow (May 12)

Tried out three different combos of annuals for The Port Coworking Space bee boxes. Each 4sqft, self-watering container has a tall central element, several mid-size elements, a trailing plant, and a ground cover. Additionally, dill seed was sprinkled in the centre of each (bees love the umbellifers) and a couple pinches of wildflower blend from Seedy Saturday. The tags are still in, so go have a look near 8th street and 1st Ave S!
