Congratulations to this month's Community Voice Fund Recipient. Womanspace Resource Centre is a Lethbridge-based non-profit and registered charity that has supported the community for over 30 years through services such as tax filing assistance, ID replacement support, and financial literacy education. It is March and that means it is officially tax season! Womanspace is extending hours, doing evening and weekend tax clinics! Check out our pinned post for all the details! If you have a simple tax returns and make a modest income, we look forward to helping you with your taxes.

Access to proper identification is essential for stability and independence. Through United Way Community Fund, Womanspace Resource Centre was able to continue helping women and families with low income replace vital documents like birth certificates and photo ID, renew driver’s licenses, and access financial literacy workshops. As the only local organization offering year round income tax filing and ID replacement services, they are meeting a critical need and helping people get back on track.

Womanspace is a community-based organization that aims to respect and reflect the diversity of women by advocating and raising awareness. We are registered with the CRA and can help women and their families with preparing and filing income tax returns and obtaining replacement identification.
