🍂 Fall is a season of gratitude, remembrance, and community. 🍂

As we reflect on the sacrifices made by Canada's Veterans, we're asking our community to come together and help support those who served.

The Lethbridge Veterans Association Food Bank provides food, essential household items, and emergency assistance to Veterans and their families throughout Southern Alberta. With winter just around the corner, the need continues to grow while our shelves continue to shrink.

If you're able to donate even a few items from our current wish list, you'll be helping provide comfort, nourishment, and hope to a Veteran who may be struggling.

As we head into the fall season, the Lethbridge Veterans Association Food Bank is facing one of our greatest challenges of the year.

Not only are we working to fill our regular monthly hampers for Veterans and their families across Southern Alberta, but we are also beginning preparations to help provide Thanksgiving meals for those who may be struggling this October.

Unfortunately, many of our shelves are running very low, and some areas are bare.

🥫 We are seeking donations of pantry staples, freezer items, hygiene products, and household essentials listed in the graphic below.

Every can, box, bottle, or package donated helps ensure that no Veteran or Veteran family has to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table.

🍁 Full plates, warm hearts, and wonderful company! 🍁

Over 20 people joined us this past Tuesday evening for our Veterans Thanksgiving Dinner at the Veterans Association Lethbridge. It was a lovely evening of good food, conversation, and community.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Sylvie for cooking an amazing spread! Your time, care, and hard work made this gathering extra special. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We’re grateful for the connections that bring our Veterans community together.

As we head into Thanksgiving weekend, we wish our Veterans, families, volunteers, supporters, and friends a weekend filled with warmth and gratitude.

🥩❤️ A huge thank-you to Dan at Legacy Meats in Lethbridge for his generous donation of 42 lbs of fresh ground pork today!

This donation will help fill our monthly hampers and provide nourishing meals for Veterans and their families supported by the Veterans Association Food Bank Lethbridge.
