Lethbridge Lankans Cricket Club conducted a cricket training session for an enthusiastic group of young men from the Fairmont LDS Church. The session took place at the Lethbridge Cricket Ground. We thank Fairmont LDS church leaders for inviting and considering Lethbridge Lankans Cricket Club team for their weekly youth activity day. Everyone had a great opportunity to learn about the game and enjoyed every moment.

🏏 Windy City Champions Trophy 2026 – A Tournament to Remember! 🏏

As the host team, this tournament was about much more than cricket for us. With limited resources, our players and volunteers took on multiple roles—planning, organizing, coordinating, and competing against some of the strongest teams in Alberta. While the result on the field was rewarding, the real success was bringing our cricket community together for an unforgettable weekend.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone in the community who stepped forward to help. Your support, encouragement, sponsorships, volunteer efforts, and presence made this event possible. This achievement belongs to all of you as much as it does to our team.

Congratulations to the champions, Calgary Vikings Sports Club, for an outstanding and unbeaten tournament. A well-deserved victory and a fantastic display of cricket throughout the competition.

Lethbridge Lankans Cricket Club (LLCC) was proud to finish as Runners-Up in the Windy City Champions Trophy 2026.

We would also like to thank all the teams that travelled long distances to participate and support this season-opening tournament. Your commitment and sportsmanship helped make the event a great success.
