Congratulations to all Kin Canada members for collectively raising over $32.7 million for Canadian communities in our 2025/26 Kin Year!

Every community in Canada has different needs. Local service clubs - like Kin - give volunteers a space to help ensure those needs are met. Do you have a club making a difference in your city or town? Find out at www.kincanada.ca/find-a-club.

We have a very interesting history that we are very proud of.

Kin Canada founder Hal Rogers, in response to a radio appeal to help provide Milk for British children, would rally the organization for their first National Project. Starting in 1941, the call was put out to clubs across Canada to raise enough funds for the purchase of one million quarts of milk. Instead, Kin clubs would raise enough money to send more than three million quarts of milk in just nine months.
By the end of the campaign, Kin Canada would raise almost three million dollars, which would go to purchase 50 million quarts of milk for Britain. Rogers would be made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1948, in recognition of the program he chaired.
In addition to funds raised, the wartime effort would lead to the creation of 41 new clubs and the introduction of the women's branch of the club known as Kinettes.

“Today was awful. I found out we had passed the half way point already and that there is something wrong with the van. Very slight but it adds up. Very tired, hot and I am worn. Made it to Sudbury.” Terry Fox

Even great journeys have speed bumps along the way.

“Today was alright. The morning 12 miles were good. Cool and no wind. The next 14 were hard with wind, humidity and heat. Jack Lambert had to leave today. I will miss him. 20 miles away from Sudbury.” Terry Fox

What happens when a group of Kinettes heads to Twin Butte for Mexican food? Plenty of laughter, great conversations, and memories that last long after the chips and salsa are gone!

One of the best parts of Kinette is that we don’t just volunteer together—we build lasting friendships while making a difference in our community.

If you’re looking for a way to give back, meet an amazing group of women, and have a little fun along the way, we’d love to tell you more about Kinette.

Send us a message—we’d love to connect!

💙 Serving our community. Building friendships. Having fun.
