A little sneaky peak of what is to come at the market tomorrow 🎃🕸️

Join us from 9AM - 4PM at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre as we commandeer the central games area and turn it into a Halloween-themed mini golf course featuring spooky sights, creepy creatures, and ominous obstacles. This event is free for all those attending the Lethbridge Handmade Market (though donations will be greatly appreciated)!

If that isn't enough to persuade you, we will also be handing out Halloween candy to any trick-or-treaters who stop by! 🍬

We are also seeking volunteers to assist us in the transportation, installation, operation, and take down of the Haunted Mini Golf event. Volunteers get in for free! 👻 The volunteer opportunities are as follows:

FRIDAY OCTOBER 17TH
🕷️12:30-2pm - Meet at Casa to load the truck
🕷️4:30-5pm - Meet at the Agri-food Hub to unload the truck
🕷️4:30-9pm - Installing and setting up each hole (attendance for the entire duration not required)

SATURDAY OCTOBER 18TH
🕸️9am-4pm - Booth crew to hand out putters and balls, supervise the holes, and tidy as necessary (attendance for the entire duration not required; minimum 1 hour)
🕸️4-7pm - Uninstall and take down the event. Everything gets loaded back onto the truck (attendance for the entire duration not required)

The loading, setup and takedown teams will need to lift and carry some heavy objects.

Show Us Your Spooky (Mini-Golf) Holes! 💀🕳️

Trap\door is excited to announce that we are collaborating with the Lethbridge Handmade Market to bring some spooktacular mini golf holes to their annual Harvest Market! ⛳️🎃🕷️

To achieve our spooky dreams, we will be hosting an all day craft extravaganza next Saturday, September 27th!

We will provide the wood bases, paint, and some art supplies/decorations to help get started. Got old art supplies or Halloween decorations collecting cobwebs in your home? Bring them with you and we will gratefully take them off your hands! Furthermore, we will be providing a pizza lunch from Two Guys and a Pizza Place to fuel everyone's creatuvity. 🍕🥤

When: Saturday September 27th from 10am-8pm
Where: 2D Studio at Casa (Upstairs, 230 8th Street S, Lethbridge)
Pizza: Two Guys; served around 1pm

Don't forget to join us at the harvest Handmade Market on October 18th! We'll be there all day!

MORE BOARD MEMBERS

Sorry for the little delay, but we are back with more board members!

Next up are Shadow and Tyler!

Shadow ( ) is a student at the U of L and makes a ton of fun collages, a lot of which feature their own family!

Tyler is a textiles and miniatures artist that teaches at multiple places, including Casa! Tyler makes fantastic needlefelt and embroidery pieces!
