Home after an incredible Prairie Region Convention in beautiful Calgary!

Thank you, delegates, for your trust and confidence in electing me as your Regional Executive Vice-President. I am deeply honoured by the opportunity to serve our members and our region.

To everyone who supported my campaign, thank you. Your encouragement, advice, kindness, friendship, and belief in me carried me through. I am grateful for every conversation, every message, and every show of support.

A special thank you to Marianne. Your friendship, guidance, and mentorship over the years have meant so much to me. I have learned so much working alongside you.

And finally, to my family—Kole, Kacey, and Koen, thank you. Your patience, support, and understanding have meant the world to me. I would not be here without you. I love you ❤️

I heard from many members this weekend and I will take your concerns and ideas to heart. I am excited for what comes next and ready to get to work for Prairie members.

Off to Winnipeg tomo ✈️

In solidarity,
Krysty

Im really looking forward to resolution debate this weekend. Read about why I think debate is important for our movement in my latest blog post 👉

One of my favourite parts of convention is resolution debate. There is something powerful about watching members from across our union come together to discuss ideas, share perspectives, and collectively decide the direction of our organization. Thoughtful debate and deliberative discourse are how

Communication matters. The way we tell our story to the public is important, but even more important is how we communicate with our members. Members deserve clear, consistent, and meaningful communication from their union.

In my latest blog post, I share my experience communicating on behalf of our union and my ideas for strengthening communication, engagement, and member connections across the Prairie Region.

Communication is important to me. Whether it's standing on a picket line, speaking at a rally, advocating for workers' rights, or responding to breaking issues affecting our members, our union needs leaders who can confidently tell our story. Over the years, I have been proud to represent members

June is National Indigenous History Month, it calls for both celebration and reflection. It is a time to not only acknowledge the history of First Nations, Inuit and Metis Peoples but also to recognize the ongoing effects of colonization and residential schools that impact Indigenous communities today.

Happy Pride Month!❤️🧡💛💚🩵🩷💙🤎

I am proud of the work our union does to recognize and celebrate the contributions of members from Two-Spirit, le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, q***r, intersex, asexual, and gender non-conforming communities.

For the past six years, I have helped organize Lethbridge labour's participation in the Lethbridge Pride celebrations. Every year, I am reminded that Pride is about so much more than parades, flags, and festivals. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁!

Its been a minute folks! Read my latest blog post - all about what Ive been up to the last two weeks and the third pillar in my campaign.

Hey friends — it’s been a little while since I’ve had a chance to sit down and write a new blog post. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind. I spent a week in Ottawa supporting Treasury Board bargaining, where once again we saw the federal government come forward with a dismal wage offer th...
