What an energizing morning with our Connected Communicators! ☀✨

Today’s Best of Connected Communicators showcase was nothing short of inspiring — a true reflection of what happens when people aspire (our Word of the Day!) to grow, connect, and stretch outside their comfort zones. 💫

Huge applause to our Toastmaster of the Day, Norma Bruins, who led us with warmth, clarity, and a theme that reminded us why this club continues to shine week after week. 🌟

Our speakers delivered standout presentations:
🎤 Isaiah Neil kicked us off with “The Book That Changed My Life” — an engaging speech that reminded every guest what it feels like to take that bold first step.
🎤 Richard Lee-Thai followed with “Your Gym for Personal Development,” capturing the spirit of who we are as a club: a place to train, grow, and transform.

The always-dynamic Brady Simpson took the virtual stage as Table Topics Master, guiding members and guests through impromptu speaking that kept us smiling, thinking, and, of course, aspiring. 💭🙌

And a big thank-you to General Evaluator Ron MacTavish and our full evaluation team for reinforcing why thoughtful feedback is one of the greatest gifts Toastmasters offers. 🎁✨

To everyone who joined us — members, guests, first-timers, and returning friends — thank you for making this special showcase meeting feel vibrant, full, and unforgettable. ❤️

If you’d love to experience this energy for yourself, or join us at our next Wednesday 6:58 a.m. MST session, DM us and we’ll send you the link. We’d love to have you at the virtual table! 🙌🌍💬

🧩✨ Riddle Me This! A Perplexingly Fun Morning with Connected Communicators Toastmasters ✨🧩

What do riddles and the English language have in common? Both can leave us perplexed—and that was exactly the theme of this week’s meeting led by our lovely Toastmaster of the Day, Shairah! 🤔💭

From witty wordplay to “aha!” moments, we explored how language can both confuse and connect us. Our Word of the Day—Perplexing—popped up in creative ways throughout the meeting!

🎤 Our captivating speakers inspired us:
• Jeremy Gauthier shared his Ice Breaker, “The Two Faces of Addiction,” a powerful and heartfelt story of growth and awareness.
• Bev LeBlanc, DTM enlightened us with “A Visit to the SPA – The Mental Health Retreat You Didn’t Know You Needed,” showing how we can all take better care of our minds.

💬 Table Topics Master Kyle had everyone puzzling over quick-thinking questions that fit the riddle theme perfectly—proving that impromptu speaking can be both fun and brain-twisting!

👏 A round of applause to General Evaluator Anrif and our amazing team behind the scenes:
• Zoom Master: Yunuhen
• Grammarian: Ron
• Ah Counter: Elizabeth
• Timer: Ramata
• Evaluators: Joe, Norma, and Richard

A special shoutout to everyone who joined early, engaged thoughtfully, and helped us create another inspiring morning filled with curiosity and camaraderie! 🌟

🎉 Connected Communicators Weekly Recap – August 27, 2025 🎉

This week’s Toastmasters meeting was one for the game show hall of fame! 🎮✨ With the theme "Family Feud", our members were all in—and not just as audience members, but full-on contestants (yes, that was the Word of the Day! 😉). We spoke and laughed about our family's unique features, and what makes our Connected Communicator family unique.

🧠 From the get-go, Toastmaster of the Day Kevin Verberk had us buzzing like we hit the buzzer first. He tied every moment together with charisma, keeping the pace fast and fun. 🎤

🎙 Our speakers brought in their

Anrif Foisy opened up with radical vulnerability in “And then there was one,” a heartfelt chapter in his ongoing journey of self-expression. 💙

Glenn Ring had us in stitches with “Failed Family Feud Attempt”—a hilarious tale of how the Ring family missed their shot at TV fame. 📺😆 We let the room air out after all that... laughter ;)

💭 Then came Table Topics Master Richard Lee-Thai, who brought Family Feud to life using hilarious and insightful survey responses from our own members! From favorite quirky skills to worst public speaking fears, it was a round of questions no one wanted to pass on. 🔥👏

📋 Our General Evaluator, the ever-excellent Bev LeBlanc, DTM, led the evaluation portion with polish and purpose.

📸 Swipe to see our Family Feud-style photo moment—smiles, poses, and a few mystery survey winners! 😉
