❤️ THANK YOU, LESLIEVILLE! ❤️

We are absolutely blown away by the incredible turnout for the re-opening of the Leslieville Community Center. Seeing so many people come through the doors to celebrate with us was truly amazing.

To say we were overwhelmed by the support would be an understatement. You even cleaned us out of food! (We’ll call that a success.)

A special thank you to WPW Inc and Spartan Delta Corp for supplying the food for our BBQ and West Stitch Advertising Ltd and Trueline MFG for the wonderful door prizes.

Thank you to everyone who attended, visited, shared stories, checked out the renovations, volunteered, helped organize, and made the evening so special. This building is more than walls and renovations. It’s a place for community, connection, and making memories, and seeing it full again reminded us exactly why all of this matters.

We’re excited for everything ahead and can’t wait to continue making the Community Centre a place for everyone.

Thank you for showing up, supporting us, and reminding us what community is all about. ❤️

🔨 Renovation Update – Leslieville Community Centre 🔨

We’re excited to share that renovations at the Leslieville Community Centre are moving forward smoothly! We’re now almost two months into the project, and the progress has been incredible to see.

✅ Fire compartmentalization is nearly complete.
✅ New drywall installation is finished and getting ready for paint.
✅ The kitchen has been fully gutted, and repairs are well underway.
✅ Lighting updates have begun.

It’s amazing to watch the transformation happening inside our historic community space. These upgrades are essential to meeting current safety requirements and ensuring the LCC remains a safe, welcoming hub for our community for years to come. We are actively working to obtain the necessary funds so that the contractor already on site can complete all planned projects efficiently and cost-effectively.

We truly appreciate the community’s continued patience and support during this important upgrade. The Leslieville Community Centre has been the heart of our community for generations, and these improvements will help ensure it continues serving families, seniors, and local groups for years to come.

Stay tuned for more updates as we move into the next phase. 💛
