Our annual craft sale is only a week away. We are looking forward to trying something new, the sale is on a Sunday this year and a new menu in the kitchen. So come on out after church and get a pasta lunch for only $12. It will include your choice of beef bolognese or chicken Alfredo, bread and salad, plus a drink and dessert for only $12! A celiac safe version of the meal will also be available. There is no charge for entry into the sale to eat or shop! I still can fit a few more tables for vendors so if you’re interested contact me asap.

We have our date and are ready to take vendor registration. Please read the rules in the comments if you want the be a vendor.

This event is on a sunday. There are two churches in the village that their services are 11-12. If you want to be a vendor but still attend church set up will be available at 9am so you will have time to set up beforehand and then comeback for the opening at 12.

If you signed up for our garden program the potatoes and onions are now in. You get a few onions(about 9-10) and your choice of either warba or russet seed potatoes(these are first come first choice). I will be at the library from 9-11 this morning(Wednesday, April 30) or you can pick up during regular library hours.

The garden seeds will be ready for pick up on Friday, March 14th during library hours (11-5). Please pick up by march 21. You will also be receiving seed potatoes and onions but those will not ship until the weather is warmer so I will post again once those are here for pick up. Please be aware that if it is your first year in the program you may need to show proof of residence to pick up. (sk id or drivers license with civic address or land location). Thank you.

The Leask Rec board is holding a Christmas scavenger hunt in connection with the Village Christmas light up the night. Hidden around the village at house that have Christmas lights are 10 numbered metal stakes (4 Santas, 3 snowmen and 3 trees). Look for them and write down the address you found each on at. You can pick up entry forms at the Libray or village office and they can be returned to either, or bring them to the Community hall after the tree lighting on the 12th. You will be entered to win a Christmas treat basket. Only one entry per family please.
