THANK YOU!

Our hearts are truly so full after such an incredible Family Fun Day at the Brickton Community Hall this past Sunday.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, sponsored, performed, shared a smile, or lent a helping hand—thank you! Every moment, every contribution, and every act of kindness helped make the day one we'll never forget.

Because of your generosity, we are thrilled to share that together we raised an incredible $4,063.25!

These funds will of course go toward the much-needed renovations at the Brickton Community Hall, helping us preserve and revitalize this beloved gathering place for generations to come. This hall has always been the heart of our community, and thanks to all of you, its future is looking brighter than ever.

We're also excited to announce that a portion of the funds raised will be used to construct a community pantry on the hall's property. This project has been close to our hearts for some time, and we're proud to take this important step toward helping bridge the gap of food insecurity within our community. We hope it becomes a place where neighbors can support neighbors and where everyone feels cared for.

One of the questions we heard over and over again on Sunday was, "Will Family Fun Day become an annual event?" While we never know exactly what the future holds, we're excited to say that the conversation is already underway, and bringing a similar event back next year is absolutely on the table.

Sunday was about so much more than fundraising. It was about reconnecting, creating memories, celebrating our community, and reminding ourselves of what we can accomplish when we come together. The energy, laughter, and support we witnessed filled us with hope and excitement for what's ahead.

Thank you for believing in the Brickton Community Hall. Thank you for believing in our community. Most of all, thank you for helping us breathe new life into a place that means so much to so many.

This is only the beginning, and we can't wait to share the journey with you all. Be sure to follow along as we continue to preserve and enhance our community gathering space for all.

There are loose cows along Highway 101 near the Mount Hanley over pass between the Lawrencetown and Middleton exits in Annapolis County.

Please use extreme caution in the area.

Farmers are aware and are working to get the cattle back safely.

Whether you volunteered for weeks, pitched in at the last minute, worked behind the scenes, or simply stepped up wherever you were needed, your kindness, dedication, and willingness to help made all the difference.

Events like this don't happen because of one person—they happen because of an amazing community that comes together to support one another. We are so grateful for every helping hand, every smile, and every hour you gave.

Alexis was one of the many amazing market vendors who came out in support of our event today, and we truly cannot thank every one of our vendors for their participation to help us make this event the success that it was!
