Last Thursday, we held our annual Lemon Award Night where cadets voted for peers in different categories. Winners had to take a bite of a lemon as part of the tradition!

Everyone dressed in yellow, played games, and enjoyed pizza together, and finished the evening with a water fight outside. Congratulations to all award recipients and well done to everyone who participated! πŸ‹πŸ’¦

Yesterday, At Laval Junior Academy Our Squadron hosted its Annual Review Ceremony in the presence of our distinguished review party:

β€’ Sona Lakhoyan Olivier, Member of the National Assembly of Quebec for Chomedey
β€’ Jonathan Caisse, Director General of the Royal Canadian Air Cadet League
β€’ James Di Sano, Chairperson of the Council of Commissioners of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board
β€’ Kelsea Legare, Commanding Officer of 100 Laval Squadron
β€’ Jennifer Subaihi, President of our Squadron Support Committee
β€’ Robert Mancini, CBSA Intelligence Officer

The ceremony showcased outstanding performances by our music band, effective speaking team, and soccer team. We also witnessed the Change of Cadet Commander, as WO1 David passed the position to next year’s Cadet Commander, WO2 Zahabi.

A special recognition was given to three senior staff cadets who are aging out of the Cadet Program at 19 years of age WO2 Panetta,Pharand and WO1 David . We also celebrated Lt Marquez for his nine years of dedicated service to the squadron as he moves on to another unit to gain new experience within the Canadian Cadet Organizations.

Congratulations to all cadets who received awards and to every cadet who participated in the parade. Thank you to all the parents, families, and volunteers who attended and contributed to the potluck. The food was outstanding, and your support helped make this event a tremendous success.

A special thank you to Laval Junior Academy and the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board for continually welcoming us back home and allowing us to use their excellent facilities year after year. Your ongoing support of our squadron and cadets is greatly appreciated.

We are incredibly proud of everything our cadets have accomplished this year and look forward to another successful training year ahead.

More photos from the Annual Review Ceremony will be posted over the coming days, so stay tuned!

Call for SSC parent volunteers for 2026 -2027 !

Your cadet puts on that uniform, and shows up β€” every single week. They drill. They study. They push themselves. They represent something bigger than themselves.

It's now your turn to show up for them!

Our cadets started Day 1 by making their beds to the required standard and settling into camp life.

Day 2 began with an early 6:00 a.m. wake-up to get ready and march to the Mess for breakfast. The cadets then visited the historic Citadelle de QuΓ©bec and explored the beautiful Plains of Abraham. After returning to the military base, they wrapped up their trip with a visit to the impressive Montmorency Falls before making their way home to Laval.

It was an excellent weekend filled with learning, teamwork, history, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to all the cadets, staff, and volunteers who helped make this trip a success! πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦βœ¨

Hello Parents,

We have left our final pit stop and expect to arrive at the Cosmodome at approximately 6:45 PM.

Please do not park in front of the entrance, as space is needed for the buses to unload cadets and equipment.

See you soon!
