A conflict is part of everyday life: it can arise from a disagreement or a misunderstanding and can usually be resolved through dialogue and mediation. Bullying, on the other hand, is a repetitive behavior intended to hurt, control, or humiliate someone. Confusing the two can prevent us from responding appropriately and protecting our children.

It often happens that school staff receive requests from parents who believe their child is experiencing bullying… but upon closer look, it turns out the situation is more about conflict.

Even today, although our activities focus on a preventive approach aimed at eliminating bullying at its source, we advocate for a “100% Intervention” approach—one that is proactive and distinct from the “Zero Tolerance” approach.
