FOSTER / FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED FOR BRUCE – MTL and Surroundings
Meet Bruce — a 6-year-old, 70 lb German Shepherd mix who is ready for his next chapter.
Bruce is a sweet, gentle and loyal boy who is playful, intelligent, food-motivated, and eager to please. He can be a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he’s an absolute sweetheart who loves his people.

He’s potty trained, knows basic obedience, and doesn’t bark at other dogs on leash. He enjoys an active lifestyle but also loves relaxing with his family.

Bruce would do best in a calm, active home with someone around often, a backyard, and children 10+.
He cannot live with cats.
He can experience some anxiety when left alone and may pull on leash, so he’ll need a patient family willing to continue working with him.
He can also be sensitive about handling by unfamiliar people and requires a muzzle at the vet.

Voici Bruce — un croisé Berger allemand de 6 ans et 70 lb, prêt pour un nouveau chapitre.
Bruce est un garçon doux, gentil et loyal, à la fois joueur, intelligent, motivé par les gâteries et désireux de faire plaisir. Il peut être un peu timide au début, mais une fois en confiance, c’est un véritable amour qui adore ses humains.

Il est propre, connaît les commandes de base et n’aboie pas après les autres chiens en laisse. Il aime un mode de vie actif, mais apprécie aussi les moments tranquilles avec sa famille.

Bruce serait plus heureux dans un foyer calme mais actif, avec quelqu’un souvent à la maison, une cour et des enfants de 10 ans et plus.
Il ne peut pas vivre avec des chats.
Il peut ressentir de l’anxiété lorsqu’il est laissé seul et tirer en laisse. Il aura donc besoin d’une famille patiente qui souhaite continuer à l’accompagner.
Il peut également être sensible aux manipulations par des inconnus et doit porter une muselière chez le vétérinaire.

Foster found, thank you all for your incredible support!

🚨 RUBY NEEDS A PLACE TO LAND TODAY. 🚨

Yesterday, we said yes to Ruby when no one else could.

She was living tied up in a yard, severely underweight, dirty, and in desperate need of care. She has patches of missing fur and is now being treated for suspected parasites.

We rescued her without having a foster lined up because we couldn’t leave her there. ❤️‍🩹

Now we need your help.

Ruby needs a foster home TODAY. This is an urgent placement, and because of her medical situation, we are looking for someone who can provide:

🐾 No other animals in the home or capable of being separated for long periods of time
🏠 A separate, isolated room for Ruby
💻 Someone who works from home or is home most of the day
❤️ Someone patient, gentle, and ready to give a neglected dog the quiet care she needs

She doesn’t need a perfect home.
She needs a safe room, a little patience, and someone willing to show her that life can be different.

We know this is a big ask, especially on such short notice. But Ruby has already been failed enough.

There are some dogs who come into rescue and find their person almost immediately… and then there’s Gatsby. 💔

Gatsby has been waiting, and waiting, and waiting. He watches other dogs leave with their families while he stays behind, wondering when it will finally be his turn.

And the hardest part? He has so much love to give. 🥺

He deserves someone who will choose him, be patient with him, take him on adventures, let him sleep beside them, and show him that he wasn’t forgotten.

Somewhere out there, Gatsby’s family is living their normal day, completely unaware that he’s still waiting for them. 💔

Every day he wakes up hoping today is the day someone chooses him. Every day he loves with his whole heart, wagging his tail, trusting people, and believing his forever is coming… and every day he watches another day pass by.

It’s hard to understand how a dog with so much love to give can keep getting overlooked. He’s done nothing wrong. He’s everything someone could ask for. He just hasn’t found the person who’s meant to see him yet.
