TOMORROW our volunteers will be arriving in Big River First Nation for our veterinary clinic all weekend long!! We have over 80 incredible volunteers coming together to serve animals and families 🧡

Take a look back at some of these volunteers in action at previous clinics - teamwork really does make the dream work!

UPDATE: We could still use another SK licensed DVM on Saturday June 20th!

‼ DVMs - we urgently need you. ‼

Unfortunately we have lost one of our valuable DVM volunteers for this weekend due to a family priority, and we are now in desperate need of a veterinarian (or multiple!) for our spay/neuter clinic that is happening THIS WEEK, from June 19th to 21st.

Able to come for 1, 2 or 3 days? We would be so grateful for any amount of time you are able to give us.

New graduates are always welcome at our clinics, and the weekend offers a great opportunity to hone in your physical exam and surgical skills!

There's been a lot of talk on our page about our veterinary clinic in Big River First Nation so you might be wondering what do we offer?
The answer? A whole lot!
While spaying and neutering is our primary service offered, pets can access so many other benefits such as microchipping and vaccines..

In addition to the medical care listed, every single animal leaves our clinic with a goodie bag! These bags are 100% donation item driven and include pet food, treats, toys, collars and more! These bags are a recent addition to our clinics and they've been a great package to provide to families and pets 🧡 We are still accepting donations for these goodie bags!

We had a busy busy weekend!

🩺 54 dogs spayed
💉 25 dogs surrendered into our care
🧡 77 dog's lives changed in one weekend

This past weekend we took a lovely group of dogs into Saskatoon for their spay-cations, and returned them home to their families yesterday! We also placed some surrendered animals with our partner rescue organizations to help them on their journey to finding their forever homes.

This program requires a lot of coordination, planning, volunteers, fuel, and more. We are so grateful for all the people that make these weekends so smooth!

We must say, 77 dogs in one weekend is pretty dang cool!
