Talk about going above and beyond the job description!

Truck driver Brian Hart was travelling near Lytton when he spotted a horse lying across a bridge with its head trapped beneath a timber beam. After stopping to help, Hart used the crane attachment on his truck in an effort to remove part of the bridge and free the exhausted animal.

A reminder that professional drivers never know what they may encounter on BC’s roads, and are often among the first to step up when help is needed.

The driver was mid-delivery when he happened upon the horse, which was in distress and appeared to be exhausted.
