Vaccinating these kittens was utter chaos. I had two locked in epic kitten battle INSIDE my bunny suit, an unknown number flying up and down my back, launching at me or off me whilst I was attempting to give them low-stress, low-restraint vaccines.

The kittens continue to win 100% of the time, but I did eventually succeed in vaccinating them... 😹😹

Cornfields and Eden have unexpectedly rejoined us. 🐾❤️‍🩹

This afternoon, we were heartbroken to learn their wonderful adopter had passed away unexpectedly. The best way we can honor his memory is to find our iconic Edenfields a new family who will heal their hearts by loving them every bit as much as he did. 💔

This is a difficult chapter in Edenfields’ story, but we’re so grateful we have this chance to find them a wonderful new family. Over the last year, our municipality’s attitude toward animal rescue has changed, and that directly impacts us.

We owe our gratitude to Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS) for continuing to provide their services to the City of Langley, despite intense political pressure from the Township of Langley’s current Mayor and slate to abandon the City’s animals.

In true Patti Dale style, LAPS stood up for all of our animals, with fierce support from Township Councillors Cllr Martens for TOL Council, Cllr Kunst for TOL Council, Cllr Whitmarsh for TOL Council, and Cllr Richter for TOL Council. If not for their compassion and courage, Eden and Cornfields would have had no safety net, and no way back to us. 🫶

💔 It’s been a tough week. 💔

We’re so sorry to share we said goodbye our tiny SuperBob🌈 late last night.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making it possible to give our two tiny Bobs the best chance to live. Thank you for seeing they were worth trying to save. Thank you for loving them, and believing their lives mattered. ❤️

We hope you can find comfort knowing they’re free from pain, reunited with SmudgeBob, and frolicking with Grandpa Mason, Nano and so many others across the Bridge.

Please extend your love and support to their wonderful, dedicated team of specialists, techs and caregivers at . They went far above and beyond trying to save them day after day, seeing hopeful signs one minute, and concerning changes the next. These were very difficult cases, and they’re painful losses for them as well. ❤️‍🩹

We’re also so grateful for the support of our wonderful Dr. Ko , Dr. Yee and Dr. F throughout the many challenges we’ve faced with this Hellga colony.

We’re incredibly relieved to have ended the cycle of chronic pregnancy, birth and loss at this challenging property.

We’re obsessively monitoring the rest of the kittens, and so far, everyone is doing ok.

I got to visit our girls today, to make sure they know how much they’re loved and missed. They already knew it, because their whole medical team is surrounding them with so much love and comfort alongside intensive medical care. We have some new insights and have started a new treatment.
