🎉 BREAKING MEWS: Cornfields and Eden are going home!!! 🐾🥰🎉

This iconic pair captured our hearts when Cornfields helped his BFF Eden give birth and raise her kittens for the last time. He wasn’t the babydaddy, but he was the best friend a pregnant kitty could have!

Tune into our livestream at TinyKittens.com/live for the packing of their and to wish them bon voyage starting around 10:30am on Aug 31st!

Follow them on their new adventures at: .bsky.social

Edenfields’ first adopter tragically passed away unexpectedly, and we just can’t wait for them to be loved just as fiercely by their new family. ❤️

🥰🐾 WHY are they so CUTE?? 🐾🥰

Fall in love on our rescue livestream: TinyKittens.com/live

This adorable family has kept us on our toes, but are doing great the last few days! Our repeat PCR tests for panleukopenia show Delta has managed to clear her infection, but we’ll have to repeat PCRs weekly for Spout and Faucet until we get negatives back for them as well. Thankfully, they’re doing SO well, we’d never even guess they’re still shedding the FPV virus!

We will have to continue our strict ISO and quarantine protocols until everyone is negative, as well as obsessively monitoring and continuing round-the-clock care. We’re very hopeful they will all have full recoveries. ❤️

Faucet’s sleepy purrs and BELLEH... 🥰🐾

This weekend has been a bit of a roller coaster! Faucet stopped eating and developed a high temp, but thankfully is responding well to treatment and continued round-the-clock intensive care... whew!!

Too sleepy to finish sentence... 🥱😴💤

Fall in love on our rescue livestream: TinyKittens.com/live 🥰

After 9 days of intensive round-the-clock care, our Sink 2.0 kittens’ panleukopenia symptoms have largely resolved! They’re not out of the woods, but we’re very hopeful.

They came to us with coccidia, cryptosporidium, and the dreaded panleukopenia virus, along with some traumatic injuries. We have another round of PCR testing underway to see what kind of progress we’re making. 💩

Faucet is getting better every day!! They still have to wear their tiny cones until they learn not to nurse on each other, but having feedings every 3 hours is helping!

Why are they so CUTE??? 🐾🥰

We have good mews, and bad mews. The great news is all three of our Sink 2.0 kittens are getting stronger every day! Faucet’s prepuce is slowly healing, and his leg function is slowly improving. The cuteness is obviously overwhelming at all times.

The bad news is that their panleukopenia PCRs came back positive for FPV, which means it’s a good thing we’ve had our most stringent ISO and quarantine protocols in place since their arrival. Because they’re doing so well, we’re hopeful we started supportive care in time and that their infections are resolving. However, there’s a chance we could see symptoms worsen, so we’re continuing to monitor obsessively to make sure we catch any changes immediately.

This was our last uncontaminated room, so that’s a bummer. And a tomorrow problem. It means we’ll have to get at least one of our rooms fully refurbished before we can take in more kittens. This has been a challenge so far, because of the amount of work, still having Hellga cats at HQ, and availability of contractors to do a small but very specialized job.

🥰🐾 Day 5: Spout is a bottle champ! 🐾🥰

And.... THANK YOU for coming through for us once again, beloved !! You met our $3000 donation matching challenge, and we are so incredibly grateful. This will be a HUGE help in paying for Keys’ medical bills, as well as continue to provide treatment, medical care and spay/neuters for the Sink 2.0 kittens! What a relief. ❤️❤️

We truly couldn’t help complicated kittens like these without your generosity, and without the many other ways in which you support us every day. 🫶

❤️‍🩹 In honour of Skye and her family, a donation matching challenge of $3000 has been launched to help the Sink 2.0 kittens! ❤️‍🩹

To help us receive this incredibly generous matching gift, please donate at TinyKittens.com/donate

Fall in love on our rescue livestream: TinyKittens.com/live 🐾

“Fare thee well and may the fairies of Skye lighten your path.”

This message from our anonymous matching donors is especially poignant this afternoon, as beautiful little Keys has crossed the Bridge as well. We know Skye was waiting to welcome her, and Grandpa Mason will ensure her floof is never left unstyled.

She had spina bifida or similar severe congenital deformity affecting her back half, and no amount of love or treatment could have given her a life without pain. Her life was short, but it mattered. 💔

In happier news, Skye’s Sink 2.0 kittens are improving! We’re extremely relieved their temps have normalized, and they’re starting to gain weight. We found out yesterday they came from an area that may have panleukopenia exposure, so we’ll be continuing strict ISO and quarantine protocols for the next 14 days out of an abundance of caution. Their progress with round-the-clock intensive care over the last 32 hours is encouraging!

Faucet’s preputial inflammation is still concerning and may require further treatment, but he’s much brighter today. He’s still not bearing weight on his back leg, likely due to a neurological issue we hope will improve in the next several days.

Thank you so much to each of you for the many ways in which you support and love us through all of the ups and downs of our rescue reality roller coaster. We’re so thankful for our beloved , because our complicated kitties like these really do need a village. ❤️‍🩹
