Meet Celine
Celine was born with a disability that affects her ability to walk and stand. For most of her life, she lived without a wheelchair or any form of mobility assistance, making everyday tasks and movement a constant challenge.

Through our WEI Business Empowerment Program, Celine received a small loan and training to help her start her own vegetable-growing business. With hard work and dedication, she began to see her efforts flourish - not only improving her livelihood but also strengthening her confidence and independence.

Recently, we were able to replace Celine’s old, worn-out wheelchair with a new, sturdier one designed to handle the uneven terrain of her community. Her joy and gratitude were immeasurable.

Mobility is something many of us take for granted, yet for people like Celine, it can transform daily life, restore dignity, and open new opportunities for empowerment. We are thankful to be able to work alongside Celine now and empower her to be successful.
