We're excited to welcome Carrisa Basham as our new Executive Director! 🎊

An experienced health care leader with an International Master in Health Leadership from McGill University, Carrisa has worked closely with health authorities, government partners, physicians and health care leaders across BC to create new systems to improve both patient experience and access to care.

For the next few weeks Heather Scott will work alongside Carrisa and our Board of Directors to ensure a smooth transition. We thank Heather for her work as Executive Director for the past six years, and wish her the best in her retirement!

Today marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

We honour Survivors of residential schools, the children who never returned home, their families and communities.

As we reflect, we are reminded that reconciliation is an ongoing journey.

It calls us to take action to ensure First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples feel respected, valued and supported when accessing care.

Langley Memorial performs over 10,000 surgeries every year, and our caregivers are there to support each and every patient that comes through the ORs.
