Next Meeting of the Langley Garden Club is October 5, 2026.
Please note that this is the first Monday of the month, as our usual second Monday is Thanksgiving Day.
The meeting as usual is at the United Churches of Langley (formerly Sharon United) at 7 pm. 21562 Old Yale Road. Our meetings are held in the upstairs hall.
Guests are welcome, the drop-in fee is $5.00
Parlour Show: Feature Class is Squash or Gourd. 1 of AV. Details are on page 15 of your Parlour Show Schedule.
The Great Potato Expo. win a $10 gift card for the most creative potato (People's Choice vote, so check out the entries!)
Floral Arts: 1. Gourds of Fun. 2. Trick or Treat. Details are on page 15
Speaker: Ron Long, sharing his power point presentation on the Amazing Tundra Flora of Pink Mountain. It is located in Northern BC and is host to many species that are endemic to diverse ecosystems across Canada. Ron is a retired professional science photographer from SFU
Membership renewal: You can renew your membership for 2027 at both the October and November meetings. Dues remain $25. Cash or cheques, pre-dated cheques are ok.
If you already know that you will not be returning next year, please let Judy know now as there is a wait list for new members. Thank you. The deadline for renewing is Jan 2, 2027. If Judy has not heard from you by that date, she will start contacting people who are on the wait list for membership.
Raffle Table: if you wish, you may bring an item or two for the raffle table, tickets are 3 for $1.00.

REMINDER: Our Annual Christmas Dinner is December 14th
Tickets will be on sale; $5.00 for members and $8.00 for guests. There are limited tickets so be sure to get yours early.
We are looking for three volunteers to do a turkey, purchase, cook, carve. Save your receipts as the club will reimburse you.
