Hello members, Anne Salomon here. As most of you know I make copious amounts of jams, jellies and preserves every year and sell them with all proceeds to Surrey Community Cats.
I am completely out of jam and I am just starting production again for spring events. I went to my freezer to get rhubarb and blackberries for the best jam ever, but horrors!! I have no more blackberries. Does any of you have any you are willing to part with in exchange for a few jars? I am looking for about 8 pounds (or even more) but of course not necessarily from one person. I can pick up and then deliver jam when done. Thank you !

What a fabulous evening we had at the Langley Garden Club’s Annual Christmas dinner and Auction. The food was spectacular and there was so much of it. All our members really went out of their way to bring the best food ever! We even auctioned off bags of turkey and ham!
The Gingerbread House decoration competition was fierce – the prize for the winning table was first at the buffet.
Awards were handed out and then the bidding for all the donated items started – it was exciting! We made a record amount at the auction.
It has been a great year for our club. We have several new members and a great attendance at our monthly meetings. On that note, we wish all our members a very “Merry Christmas” and a healthy and “Happy New Year” – keep digging! See you in 2026.

One of our favorite meetings last night as we welcomed back John and Laurelle from Art's Nursery to demonstrate Christmas decor! This year they did hanging baskets and door garland. Always so very entertaining! And considering it is November, we had a fabulous show and tell bench! Thanks to everyone for coming - and Theresa Bulman, we missed you! 🥰
