Nicomekl Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a group of parents working together to make our school better with events, hot lunches, treat days & more — while supporting students, families, staff, and our community.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!

Its that time of year again, and our yearly Sports day is being held on june 18th and we need volunteers to make sure the day is a success!

Our event runs from 9:00am - 2:30pm
Set up starts at 8:15am
Take down should be simple and runs until 3:30pm

We are doing mostly bouncy castles and inflatable games! We need roughly 15 volunteers.

Hello Cougar Caregivers 💙💛

We’re bringing in the Reptile Guy on June 3rd 🐍🦎 and it’s going to be a seriously fun, hands-on day—think up-close learning, curiosity, and a whole lot of “can I hold it?!” moments.

To make this happen, we’re looking for 12 adult volunteers to support the day.

What’s happening:
We’ll have 8 interactive animal stations set up in the gym. Classes rotate through to learn about each animal and safely interact with them. It’s always a highlight for students.

Volunteer role:
You’ll help supervise a station and assist with animals like:
– Geckos
– Cockatoo
– Small + large snakes
– Tortoises
– Chinchilla / hedgehogs
– Small lizards
– Iguana / tegu

Time commitment:
8:15 AM – 2:33 PM (includes a mandatory 25-min training at the start)

Important:
• Volunteers must be 18+
• You should be comfortable handling/assisting with animals

It’s a great day if you’re even a little curious—and you’ll be right in the middle of the action 🐢

Sending out a reminder that our May is coming on May 11th, and we need parents to step into our executive roles for next year's PAC.

If we do not get parents to step into PAC executive, (at least president, treasurer and secretary) we will have to dissolve our PAC and we will lose all of our funding and current funds.

Every Parent is already a member of PAC, but having an exec team is how we are able to get funding, and make decisions that add experience and quality the the school year for all our kids.

No time is too big or small, and every helping hand helps. Please consider giving some of your time to help keep the PAC going.
