Parents, come join us on Monday, September 7 from 5:30 to 7:00pm to fill the school with colourful chalk art and welcome-back messages for our kids’ first day! 🌈✨

👶 Younger siblings are welcome!
🚫 Please keep school-aged children at home so we can keep everything a surprise for their first day! 🤫

We hope everyone is having a fantastic summer! As back-to-school season starts to creep up on us, here’s a friendly reminder about WLE’s school supply program.

West Langley Elementary is once again doing bulk school supplies for students in Grades K–7. Simply pay through School Cash Online, and your child’s school supplies and agenda will be provided to your child by their classroom teacher.

If you’ve already paid for your child’s school supplies through School Cash Online, you’re all set! If not, there’s still time to check it off your back-to-school to-do list.

A reminder that tomorrow, Thursday, June 25 is the last day of school, with dismissal at 11:20 AM.

Thank you to our students, staff, and families for a wonderful year filled with learning, growth, friendship, and memories. A big thanks also goes out to all of our parents and caregivers who supported our fundraising efforts throughout the year. Your generosity, time, and enthusiasm helped create incredible opportunities and experiences for our students and made this year even more memorable.

Sports Day is almost here! 🏃‍♂️

The morning of Sports Day is always a busy one, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Swing by our concession located by the Gaga Ball Pit for your breakfast and morning coffee.

Concession Schedule:
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Open for Parents, Guardians, & Staff Only
12:00 PM – 2:45 PM: Everyone Welcome!

Check out our full menu and price list! From fresh pastries and hot coffee in the morning to pizza, popcorn, and treats in the afternoon, we’ve got something for everyone.

Final call for anyone wanting to order Sports Day Hot Lunch!

Join us on Friday, June 12 for a special Sports Day lunch featuring pizza and TCBY frozen yogurt.

Parents are welcome to join their child for lunch! Simply add your meal to your child’s order, and both lunches will be delivered together to the classroom.

West Langley Elementary is celebrating Bike to School Week this year from June 1-5!

We’re encouraging students and families to use active transportation for their trips to school all week - walking, biking, scootering, skateboarding, and using mobility aids all help reduce congestion in our school neighbourhood and help students arrive at school energized and ready to learn. If your student uses active transportation to get to school from June 1 to June 5, please have them stop by the front of the school from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. to add a sticker to our tracking posters and enter the daily prize draw!
