Langley District 4-H

Last Saturday May 30th Langley District members held their annual judging rally at the Abbotsford AgriArena.

Members participated in a tug of war before judging 6 classes including Rottweilers, Heifers, Sheep, Rabbit, Eggs and Dairy Goats.

They then finished off the afternoon with a pizza lunch.

May was a busy month for members of the Langley District.

On May 21 members had the ability to participate in learning Archery and safety aspects that go along with it, May 22 was target shooting and Rifle safety and May 28 safety on Wilderness Walk.

Thank you Andy W. for organizing such a fun filled and educational sessions for the members. To Ridgedale Rod and Gun club thank you so much for your hospitality and taking the time to educate our members.

The start to Kids FarmSafe Week starts tomorrow! Let’s celebrate Canadian farm families and work together to protect the next generation of farmers by raising awareness about safety!!

What a way to end Volunteer Week on April 25th. These dedicated members from Woodlands and Glen Valley volunteered their time at the Nicomekl Fisheries Enhancement Society Open House on April 25th. Awesome job members!!!!
