We’ve had a wonderful final week of May here at Raphael House!

From generous donations from , , and other community partners, to two art classes and a cooking class led by one of our families, it has been a week full of connection, generosity, and community.

As always, it is a privilege to serve the many families who walk through our doors each week. We couldn’t do what we do without the generosity, partnership, and shared heart for serving our community. Thank you for being part of it!

At Raphael House, we have the privilege of seeing families we serve also give back by volunteering each week. It’s a beautiful reflection of what we strive for—creating a food hub that runs smoothly while feeling welcoming and community-driven.

Volunteer Spotlight: Ana. One of our 150 dedicated volunteers, Ana is also a registered family with us. Whether she’s helping prep by bagging items for the food hub or teaching our staff Spanish, she serves with a joyful spirit. When asked why she enjoys volunteering, she shared, “Yes, of course, I like to be active and help wherever needed, as well as seeing families go home happy with plenty of food.”
