We had an incredible evening celebrating 5 years of Raphael House at our Annual Fundraising Dinner.

Thanks to our generous guests and supporters across this event and two others, we have surpassed our fundraising goal and have raised over $630,000 so far! Donations continue to come in, and if you would like to contribute to this total, please visit our website.

Your support makes all the difference in allowing us to support local families week in and week out.

Here's a short highlight video to relive the impact and heart of the night.

We are one week away from our annual fundraising dinner! Our team has been hard at work in the kitchen, baking cookies for all of our guests 🍪

We’re especially grateful that one of our own Raphael House family members is the pastry chef behind these delicious treats. We love seeing our families thrive and sharing their gifts with our community!

We had a special celebration for Mid-Autumn Festival at Raphael House today. One of our graduated families, Ellen, came to visit and drop off mooncakes for all the families and volunteers to say thanks for all the support her and her family received from Raphael House.

It’s so special to see families who have been part of the Raphael House community move forward, pursue new opportunities, and then find ways to give back. We’re grateful to have been part of their journey and love celebrating moments like this.

On Friday, we celebrated five incredible years of Raphael House! 🎉
For the past five years, we have had the privilege of serving our community, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this milestone than alongside our families, friends, volunteers, and supporters.
More than 800 people joined us for our 5 Year Anniversary Reunion! The day was filled with performances, face painting, activities, delicious food, and so much more.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special—from setup and performances to all the little things in between. We are so grateful for every person who gave their time, energy, and support to make this celebration possible.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who has been part of the Raphael House community over these past five years. 💛
We can’t wait to see what the next five years bring!

We love getting to do another coloring contest!! There were so many amazing entries! It felt impossible to choose but after much consideration, we have our winner! If you are the winner, you’ll receive an email soon from our team on when to pick up your prize! Congrats!

We had the pleasure of hosting the Honourable Anna Gainey for a tour on Thursday! It was a wonderful opportunity to share more about our work, discuss our vision, and hear Anna’s heart for the community.

As the Secretary of State (Children and Youth), her work addressing food insecurity and supporting young people closely connects with what we see every day at Raphael House. She is a key point person for the Canada Summer Jobs program, which has helped make it possible for us to welcome six summer staff members to our team over the past few years!

We are so grateful for the time to connect, share what we are seeing in our community, and have meaningful conversations about how we can continue supporting children, youth, and families across Canada.

Thank you for taking the time to visit Raphael House!
