The Kinette Club of Lake Cowichan was honoured to present bursaries to three outstanding graduates this evening in recognition of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their future goals.

Congratulations to Dixie Bergman and Faith Smith, recipients of our $750 Kinette Club bursaries, and to Cruz Scheffer, recipient of the $1,000 Kristal Mayo Memorial Bursary (offered in partnership with the Kinsmen Club of Lake Cowichan).

We are proud to support local students as they take the next steps in their educational and career journeys. We wish all members of the Lake Cowichan School Class of 2026 every success in the years ahead. 💫

Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the recent tragic accident involving local youth.

This is a devastating loss for our small community, and we extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of those affected, as well as our hopes for healing for those who were injured.

This past weekend our club, along with the Kinsmen, hosted the annual Kinvention for other Kin clubs in B.C. (aka District 5). A highlight for us was watching our very own Kin Stacey be installed as this year’s D5 Governor. Stacey is a hardworking and dedicated member and leader, and we are so proud to call her our friend! 💐
