Newfoundland Dog Club of Canada BC Region The Official Regional Club of the Newfoundland Dog Club of Canada We are located in British Columbia, Canada and have a love for this beautiful breed.

Most of our members are located throughout our Province, with members in Alberta, Washington, Oregon and even in New Zealand.

Todays draft test had 8 entries, 4 passed and 4 did not. 1 Novice draft dog samoyed team did well. Just needs a little more control, maybe tomorrow at the Bernese Mtn dog test will be her day. In the Draft dog we had 3 entries. A nice berner that sat up on her down stay did awesome at all the rest. She will have another chance tomorrow. A beautiful Brace draft dog team of Visla's did an awesome job and got their BDD title. A newf requalified for draft dog. We also had 4 draft dog excellent teams. A bernese team that will try again tomorrow. A Visla will also try again tomorrow. The other 2 entries a Visla and newf requalified for DDX. Photos of qualifiers to follow.

Draft Test tomorrow in Ladysmith, at the Savory's residence. Check in starts at 8:00am, equipment check to follow. Start with Novice Draft Dog, and Draft Dog obedience, then draft manouvering exercises and freight haul. Draft Dog Excellent manouvering and freight hall to follow the DD levels.

2 passes today at the NDCC Water Test Pauline with her dog Gin and Dean with his dog Freida in WRD. Barb and her dog Navy did well, but a couple of little hiccups left to work out. Robyn and her dog Grigio tried for WRDX, maybe next time. A fun day with your dog is always a good day. Thanks to judges Amber Ringer and Doug Savory for coming out today.
