This Friday is our first Still In Action Movie Night!

Friday, October 16th - A Wicked Double Feature!
"Wicked" and "Wicked for Good" (Both PG)
Starting at 5 PM - 1 Ticket Covers Both Movies (1 Ticket = 1 Person)

Tickets required, available for FREE at the library circulation desk.
(We still have tickets available!)
Popcorn and Drinks will be offered for $1 each at the event.

Both our Speculative Fiction and Young Adult Book Club October Meetings are coming up soon!

The Speculative Fiction Club is meeting on Oct 19th (Next Monday) to discuss "Vicious" by V.E. Schwab.
[We have 3 copies available at the library for anyone interested in joining us. It's not too late!]

The YA Book Club is meeting on Oct 26 (The Monday after next) to discuss "Divergent" by Veronica Roth.
[We have 5 copies available at the library for anyone interested in joining us. There is about 2 weeks until this meeting.]

There will be snacks and drinks at the meetings!

Mary C. Moore Public Library will be closed on Sunday, October 11 and Monday, October 12, 2026.

The library will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, October 12, 2026 from 10 am - 8 pm.

Our Table Top Adventurers' Guild Open House is TOMORROW, Oct 8th!
6-7:30PM - Kinsmen Room (Upstairs LMC).

Come learn about this new teen program, enjoy a gaming basics demo, and register on-site if you decide you'd like to join! (We will also have refreshments!)
The Open House is drop-in, and the whole program is free!

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our Beading Workshop on September 29th.
And thank you to our amazing facilitator, Maria Buffalo, who came out to teach us about beading, and not just how to do it, but also its importance and history.

I hope everyone enjoyed the program, and I loved seeing everyone's beautiful work!
Please feel free to email me pictures of your finished pieces when you complete them, we would love to see.

For those who participated; I have sent an email regarding a potential follow-up meeting where I can offer some assistance in finishing your pieces if you'd like. A few dates have been offered so I invite you to check your emails if interested.
