We have 6 board vacancies to fill to make Lacombe Days 2027 happen! ❤️💙💚

Lacombe Days is a community tradition made possible by the people who step up, get involved, and help bring our community together. As we look ahead to 2027, we need passionate, community-minded people to join our Board of Directors and help keep the celebration going!

Do you have ideas to share, skills to contribute, or a passion for bringing people together? We’d love to hear from you!

🙌 We’re looking for individuals interested in:
🎪 Event planning and coordination
🤝 Sponsorship and fundraising
💰 Finance and treasurer responsibilities
👥 Human resources and governance
📣 Website management, advertising and social media
💡 Marketing & communications
💛Fresh ideas & Community Involvement

⏰ Time commitment: Approximately 10 hours per month, plus availability during Lacombe Days weekend.

You don’t need festival experience to make a difference - just a willingness to get involved and help shape the future of Lacombe Days!

📢 IMPORTANT: Interested in joining the Board? You must be present at the Membership Meeting to be voted in.

Do you love Lacombe, enjoy bringing people together, or have skills you’d like to put to work in your community?

Lacombe Days Association is recruiting working Board Members for a 2-year term.

We’re currently looking for:

Treasurer
Someone with a background or experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or budgeting.

Directors
We welcome individuals with an interest or experience in:
• Sponsorship & fundraising
• Event planning & coordination
• Human Resources
• Marketing & community engagement
• Graphic Design/Social Media/Website management

🕐 Time Commitment: Approximately 10 hours per month
🎪 Lacombe Days Weekend: Board members must be available to participate and support the event Weekend in July.

Festival and event experience is welcomed, but not required. We’re looking for people who are willing to contribute their time, ideas, skills and enthusiasm to help shape the future of Lacombe Days.

This is a working Board, so members will have opportunities to actively contribute to planning, fundraising, partnerships and the delivery of Lacombe Days.

Lacombe Days is winding down but not done yet!! We have a full day of the mini Nerd Fest at the mall!
The Lacombe Chamber Market, Old-Fashion Penny Carnival & Ellis Bird house building at the LMC!
Fly-in Breakfast at the airport, Co****le at the Gary Moe, Blindman Patio & Lacombe Museum Tours downtown!
