🌟 Discover the Volunteer for Literacy (VFL) Program! 🌟
Literacy isn’t just about reading books—it is woven into every single part of our lives! From digital skills and financial tracking to prepping for a test, literacy is about life skills.
At the Community Learning Hub, our Volunteer for Literacy program is the spark that connects people to share, learn, and grow together.
📚 How It Works
Your Goals, Your Pace: Learners follow their own path. Whether you are studying for a written driver’s license, an entrance exam, Canadian Citizenship, or an English proficiency test, we are here to help.
Perfect Pairings: Learners with specific goals are matched with dedicated volunteer tutors (often amazing retired seniors looking to stay active, share their lifetime of skills, and give back!).
Choose Your Task: Volunteers and learners can choose tasks that perfectly fit their unique abilities, comfort levels, and skill sets.
Community Connection: It’s not just about test-taking. For many, it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds, make long-term connections, and give back through volunteering.
