Heading up to the farm this weekend for the almighty purge! (part two)...

= Big garbage day ( which only comes once a year in the country )

We'll be doing about 5 hours of clearing out old doors/ windows/ whatnot and shifting some stuff around.

If you're less in the mood for schlepping!

- You can paint a bee hive, do some general tidying, gardening, groom the horses or find something that inspires you.

The rest will be spent burning stuff and enjoying each other's company! / Doing whatever you want!

I'll be heading out Friday afternoon around 6pm and still have space in my car.

Coming back Sunday afternoon.

There are a couple cars coming Saturday, which can't be relied on for rides out but one which could potentially give lifts back if you just want to come for a quick trip 👍

If you're driving, you're welcome to show up whenever.

Let me know if you're coming and need directions or if you'd like to hitch a lift!

What is up at Heartroot! ❤️

It's the calm before the hopefully very pleasant summer 🌞 ...

There are so many potential projects but no rush is key.

Larger projects on the maybe get done agenda are:

- Rebuilding the hot tub and potentially
- Putting in a cob floor for the large extension/ "concert area" and
- Completely reworking the layout of the veggie garden 🤞.

Bee's are in the mail! 🐝📦✅...

- Shopping around for chicken's and a decent Heartroot mobile! 🚘🤠...

I (David) will be heading down on the 11th of May to haul out a bunch of windows and doors for for BIG GARBAGE DAY! 🕺🎉
( - We did a bunch last year, so most of the terrible stuff is gone already) 🤣...

I currently have one or two spots available in my car and there's plenty of space to sleep/ if anyone would like to join for a small work weekend 💪🦵 ?..

It will be very pleasant regardless of shleping and there are plenty of other things you can help with if shleping isn't your strong point!

We will also burn a bunch of stuff and chill 🔥

I am in the city until at least the end of May - dealing with a grade -A legal nightmare for my property in the city and preparing for my inevitable state of working remotely and being more consistently at the farm ❤️

Welcome to the Heartroot community page ❤️.

Heartroot Farm was founded by our late mother, Dawn Bramadat, in the hopes cultivating good people - Bringing spirituality, healing, inspiration for creativity, community and exploration of the self and our oneness with nature to those who visit.
- With the ultimate goal of building an ecologically sustainable community and work space where people can explore their creativity, take retreat and expand their knowledge through workshops, retreats and connection with the internal and the natural world.

While the general outline has evolved through the years and there are many teachings that will no longer be possible in the absence of our Mother 🙏 those principal values will remain.

Starting in July 2024 - Our focus will be on uplifting the property and re-defining/shaping/strengthening the community in its newest form.

We are inviting all good hearted, authentic people who would like to join us in this effort of improving and the space for future projects!

We will offer energy exchange and/or donation based accommodations for short or long term stays.

It's a beautiful place, full of potential and will only become more beautiful ❤️.

This page will be used for progress updates, community engagement, rideshares, general information and eventually for workshops and event planning.

We look forward to sharing and celebrating our communal creativity with you at Heartroot 🙏 ❤️
