🍎 Back to School Food Drive 🍏

We would love your help to fill our pantry with items suitable for kids going back to school! We invite businesses and other groups to join in as well!

🧃Some ideas are🍪
Cookies, crackers, fruit snacks, fruit cups, granola bars, bear paws, juice boxes, 1 L juice, cereal, oatmeal, rice krispie squares, mini cookies (oreo/choc chip), animal crackers, pop tarts, goldfish, cheese and crackers, etc.

*NO peanuts or tree nuts*

Join us in filling our shelves so we can help send our clients children off to school knowing they will have full bellies during snack time 🩷

Donation drop offs can be made at the food bank during opening hours, 10am-12pm Tuesday - Thursday.
A food drop box is also located in the porch at IGA.

We held our annual mall food drive yesterday, and what an outpouring of support we received! Lab West residents have a huge heart to help anyone in need, and we are so thankful that you chose to help the food bank yesterday 💕.

We collected 607 pounds of food and a significant monetary donation.
Thank you once again.

The food bank will forever be in need because as donations come in, just as quickly it is going out to help those who are feeling the burden of food insecurity. Our mission is to help lessen that burden and to offer hope and compassion to those who walk through our doors.

🥫 We will be hosting a food drive at the mall this Friday from 12 - 7pm.

Our town has always been a huge supporter of the food bank. We understand times are getting harder, and the need is greater. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity to help fill our shelves and make this food drive a huge success. We always appreciate your giving, especially now.

Attached is a copy of items that we stock regularly, and some items that we are extremely low on at this time are highlighted. Items noted are only a suggestion, all non-perishable food accepted.
As always, food or monetary donations are accepted. EMT is also an option, please message us for information on that form of giving.

The drop box at IGA is also available for food donations afterhours.
