The days are getting shorter and Halloween feels like it’s just around the corner. The La Rivière & Community Recreation Centre is excited to announce that this year’s Halloween event will be a haunted house in the entire arena!

One half will be scary enough that most kids should have fun (think our previous haunted house) and the other half is VERY SCARY! (it might not be appropriate for everyone). The hall will have a canteen with hot dogs and hamburgers along with a few spooky treats as well as some activities while you wait for your turn to enter the haunted house.

It runs October 23,24,30,31 from 6-11 pm. We hope to see you there.

Days are getting shorter and the leaves are changing colour and that’s got us thinking about our annual Halloween event.

We’re doing things a little differently this year and plan to turn the entire arena floor into a haunted house. We’re looking for volunteers to help build and set up, act in the haunted house and help run the canteen. If this interests you or someone you know, please reach out on here or to any board member.

We are also in need of pumpkins, dried corn stalks, lumber , pallets, white or black bed sheets and Halloween decorations or items in reasonable condition.

More information about the event is coming soon!!!
