Wonderful to host a couple Wetʼsuwetʼen "cousins" recently. We were especially touched when they sang and shared a traditional hymn in the fields, in their language. Some new potatoes were dug. The tour was led by our site manager and hereditary chief Gaxsgabaxws.

The last of the rescued cherries left the root cellar yesterday, as some communities who missed out came and loaded up for distribution. We were thrilled to see some cases make it to families in need as far away as PG and Vancouver - wow! Thank you everyone who participated and helped with our local and regional food sovereignty distribution.

Some of our favourite pictures of our free cherry distribution - lots of work done by our wonderful team and many other people. Thank you to all the organizations who picked up cherries at Tea Creek and distributed them. We still have some left in storage and will be be distributing the last few cases in the coming couple days.
