Kitimat Youth Centre (KYC)

Kitimat Youth Centre (KYC) KYC is a FREE social/recreational drop-in centre for youth ages 10-18. An entertaining & safe place for the youth of Kitimat to come together & hangout.

We offer fun activities & games throughout the week for youth between the ages of 13-18. 12 years old if you are turning 13 this school year. Youth or parents come check it out during or hours! We have/offer:
• Pool Table
• Game Consoles
• Laptops (+ Internet Access)
• Soundproof Room for loud (or quiet!) activities
• Board Games
• Full Kitchen
• Snack & Beverage filled concession!
• 4 TV's
• S

ports Equipment
• Speakers
• Saturday Night Movie Nights!
• Occasional tournament nights with prizes!
• "Lock-Ins" throughout the year, overnight from 7pm till 7am, filled with activities & access to the Riverlodge gym!

• Most importantly, full confidentiality between mentors & youth. (with a duty to report)


The Kitimat Youth Centre is a program of Kitimat Community Services Society, in partnership with the District of Kitimat (with support from the Province of British Columbia).
