In observance of the Victoria Day holiday, there are NO Blastball games today. Our league prefers to keep holiday-long weekends free so that all our families, players, and volunteers can enjoy time together.

Please disregard any game times listed for today on your current schedule. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

However, our field permits are still active this evening. If individual team coaches would like to head out and arrange an informal game or practice with the available players, they are welcome to use the space. Coaches: please contact your players directly if you plan to use the field tonight.

Enjoy the rest of your long weekend, and we will see you on Wednesday!

Requests related to scheduling changes for Photo Day:

Hi everyone,

We have received numerous requests to adjust individual player photo times for our upcoming Photo Day. While we would like to accommodate everyone, it is unfortunately not feasible.

Individual photos are scheduled within each team’s designated time block. The photographer’s tracking system and schedule are organized by team, so we cannot accommodate multiple walk-ins for individual photos outside your team’s assigned slot.

With 400+ players and 36 teams scheduled within a 6-hour timeframe, the schedule is quite tight, and we are unable to make any changes.

We apologize for being unable to fulfill these requests. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to make this day run smoothly.

PHOTO DAY!

Photo Day is Saturday, May 23, at Forest Heights Community Centre (rooms 1 and 2, across from the gym). Each player will receive a FREE individual photo and a team photo. The schedule with each team's photo time is attached.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled photo time and enter through room 1 (the first room on the left).

Please ensure your child wears their team shirt and hat.

Please let your team coaches know if your child cannot attend.

To allow adequate space in our waiting area, we kindly request that players be accompanied by one adult, if possible.

Dear FHTBA players and families,

We are excited to announce that the 2026 season is approaching! The season will begin on Saturday, May 2nd, and conclude on Saturday, June 20th. We can’t wait to see our returning players and meet new ones.

We are also thrilled to continue our Rookie Ball division for ages 8-12. Rookie Ball provides a natural transition from T-Ball to standard baseball and softball, as well as more advanced levels of the sport; this division focuses on developing essential skills such as hitting a moving ball, running, fielding, and throwing while also teaching players the fundamental rules of the game.

Online registration for the 2026 season will open in early February. We will contact last year’s FHTBA parents to inform them when registration opens. We encourage you to register as early as possible to secure your spot on a team.

As a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers, we rely on volunteer coaches for our teams. Players whose parents are coaching are guaranteed a spot on the team and can make unlimited player requests for their roster. We offer a 15-minute clinic for new coaches and those who want a quick refresher.

All games scheduled for tonight have been cancelled due to weather conditions.

Coaches for Monday/ Wednesday Blastball are asked to return equipment bags to Room 3 this coming Saturday during Fun Day (information below). We will also provide an alternative date for equipment return in the coming weeks.
