Local Initiative for Future Energy (LIFE) Co-op LIFE is a renewable energy co-operative that uses community members' investments to enable a greener energy future.

LIFE is currently building a number of rooftop solar projects on barns and industrial buildings in Southwestern Ontario, with most of our site buildings owned by a co-op member. Our projects give priority preference to local equipment suppliers and installers with demonstrated environmental values. Every one of our projects contributes to a cleaner power grid in Ontario and creates a healthier environment for our future, while maximizing the positive impact on the local economy.

Most of our sites are co-owned with local landowners and/or renewable energy developers. Our projects have given priority preference to local equipment suppliers and installers with demonstrated environmental values. Every one of our projects contributes to a cleaner power grid in Ontario and creates a healthier environment for our future, while maximizing the positive impact on the local economy and rewarding our member-investors with dividend returns.
